MW-7 (Up-gradient):
® All constituents were within the tolerance limits in 2012, except for EC which exceeded
tolerance limits in the 3rd Quarter 2012.
No VOCs were reported in well MW-7 this year.
MW-8:
All general water quality constituents were within the tolerance limits in 2012. The trend
analysis indicates decreasing trends in Chloride,Nitrate as Nitrogen, and Sulfate.
Seven VOCs were reported in well MW-8 this year. The VOCs detected in this well are
generally among the same VOCs found in MW-5, but at equal or lower concentration. The area
around MW-5 is believed to be the source of VOCs at MW-8.
Trend analysis of VOC concentrations indicates increasing trends for four VOCs, decreasing
trends for one VOC and no trends for four VOCs.
MW-9A(Newly-installed):
MW-9A has been monitored for three quarters. Concentrations of all parameters were within
established concentration limits where the limits could be determined in 2012.
Two VOCs were reported in wellMW-9A this year. The VOCs detected in this well are among
the VOCs found in MW-5 and MW-8, at lower concentrations. It is our opinion that MW-5 is
closer to the source of the VOCs and thus has more VOCs.
Data is not sufficient to establish a trend in this well.
MW-l0A(Newly-installed, Impacted):
MW-l0A has been monitored for three quarters. Concentrations of all parameters were within
established concentration limits where the limits could be determined in 2012.
Three VOCs were reported in well MW-l0A this year. The VOCs detected in this well are
among the VOCs found in MW-5 and MW-8, at lower concentrations. It is our opinion that
MW-5 is closer to the source of the VOCs and thus has more VOCs.
Data is not sufficient to establish a trend in this well.
MW-11A (Newly-installed, Impacted):
MW-1 IA has been monitored for three quarters. Concentrations of all parameters were within
established concentration limits where the limits could be determined in 2012.
•
Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill 18 Department of Public Works/Solid Waste
4th Quarter and Annual 2012 Groundwater Monitoring County of San Joaquin—January 15,2013
