® On June 6, 2012, the County submitted a revised schedule showing bidding in late 2012 with <br /> construction starting in the spring of 2013. A letter dated July 13, 2012 apparently tentatively <br /> accepted that revised schedule. <br /> On August 21, 2012,the County submitted the Evaluation Monitoring Program Report—Phase 2, <br /> which delineated the extent of groundwater impact. <br /> On September 26, 2012,the County received a Notice of Violation for failure to delineate the <br /> extent of groundwater impact, and requiring the following: <br /> • Install a fourth permanent groundwater monitoring well beyond Investigate the extent of <br /> the VOC plume to the north-northeast of the site <br /> • Conduct a water supply well search within a 1-mile radius of the site (not previously <br /> required) <br /> • Install a minimum of two soil gas probes along the northern site boundary(not previously <br /> required) <br /> On October 17, 2012, Water Board agreed that the data from the three existing wells beyond <br /> County property were sufficient to delineate the extent of groundwater impact. <br /> In the session of April 11 and 12,the Regional Water Quality Control Board was scheduled to <br /> consider a Cease and Desist Order that would require the closure of the un-closed portion of the <br /> Corral Hollow Landfill and installation of additional landfill gas collection wells and establishing <br /> the timeline for future corrective action, if needed. <br /> Corral Hollow Sanitary Landfill 8 Department of Public Works/Solid Waste <br /> I"Quarter 2013 Groundwater Monitoring County of San Joaquin—April 15,2013 <br />
