Adequate compaction of the soil will be provided by the weight of the bulldozer while placing the fill. The <br />fill areas may be watered with a water truck as needed for compaction and dust control. <br />Final Surface Protection <br />The final graded surface of the fill area will be track -walked by the bulldozer. The area will be seeded <br />with grass to establish vegetation to control erosion when grading is complete. The graded area will be <br />seeded again during the winter months to ensure proper vegetation cover. <br />PROJECT SCHEDULE <br />The Solid waste Division staff has tentatively planned to begin the project at the end of February or the <br />first week of March, 2008. The project duration is anticipated to be one to two weeks. <br />The work hours for this project will be from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. All work will be <br />scheduled in coordination with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department Unit 6 (EHD) with <br />a minimum of two days advance notice. <br />SITE SAFETY <br />Cal OSHA safety standards will be followed during the project.
