Page S <br />Item # 13. No venting provided or contemplated. Past operations <br />have indicated that the volume of methane generated is relatively <br />low. <br />Item #14. The tentative, long term use of this disposal site is <br />for a regional park: however, a final decision has not been made <br />on this matter. The work at the site is progressing with a park <br />site as the final objective. The Parks and Recreation Department <br />of the City of Stockton anticipates that this site will not be <br />required for park purposes until at least 1987. <br />Item #1S. The site is owned and operated by ,the City of Stockton <br />and is operated under the direction of the Director of Public <br />works. His representatives are the Street Maintenance Superin- <br />tendent and the Maintenance Supervisor for Street Cleaning. The <br />operation of the site is by contract operator, who works within <br />the limits of thz attached specifications. John Giambastiani and <br />Son is the current operator, whose contract expires in May of 1981. <br />One person is employed in the actual operation of the landfill <br />site, and he has been employed in this capacity for five years. <br />The record of quantities of garden refuse disposed of at French <br />Camp disposal site are maintained by City forces. <br />Robert F.
