At the current rate of usage (86,9SS <br />cubic yards annually, with a 2:1 compaction ratio), this site <br />will be exhausted in twenty years. <br />Item #6 - Contours of the Site: <br />At the present time, a final determination has not been made of <br />the ultimate site configuration. This decision will be made at <br />the time a master plan is adopted for a park site on this property. <br />Item #7 - Monitoring of Leachate: <br />Irrigation we� adjacent to the site will be monitored for'' <br />leachate semi-annuall4. The tests will be for normal bacterio- <br />logical contaminants; the pH, hardness, alkalinity, calcium, <br />magnesium, sodium, potassium, total iron, ferrous iron, chlorides, <br />sulfates, phosphates, organic nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen, BOD, <br />COD, zinc, nickel and suspended solids. <br />Item #8 - Fire Protection: <br />Primary means of fighting fires at French Camp disposal site is with <br />a tractor and clean fill dirt. In addition, portable pumps are avail— <br />able to assist in fire fighting operations; water is available on three <br />sides of the site. <br />
