calRecycle <br />Closed Disposal Site Inspection Report (188) <br />THE ABOVE FACILITY WAS INSPECTED FOR COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE SECTIONS OF THE DNISION 30 OF THE PUBLIC RESOURCES CODE (PRC) AND TITLE 14 AND TITLE 27 CALIFORNIA CODE OF REGULATIONS (CCR) I <br />20750 - Site Maintenance <br />Comments: Vegetation maintained at a minimum at the secondary site, however top of primary site and <br />northwest side of primary site were still covered by overgrown vegetation. <br />a. Operator should maintain the vegetation at a minimum, so that site cover inspection could easily be conducted <br />and to prevent surface fires <br />from taking place which could cause a threat to public health and safety and the environment. <br />X 120921 - Gas Monitoring / Control <br />Comments: Concentrations of gas probe measured the following for methane%: <br />GW 4 - Shallow - 0.0 Intermediate - 3.4 Deep -1.2 <br />GW 1-0.0 (all three probes) <br />GW 2-0.0 (all three probes) <br />GW 12-0.0 (all three probes) <br />Continuation of AC from the last inspection. <br />a. Methane gas levels of 5% (LEL) by volume of air at the property boundary constitute a violation. Take <br />adequate measures to decrease <br />qas level at the property boundarv. <br />1 x 121150 - Drainage / Erosion Control <br />Comments: The north and south ditches on the secondary site were filled/re-graded, however drainage at the <br />northwest side of the secondary site did not appear to function as intended. <br />Erosion channels were observed at the north slope of the secondary site. <br />a. Provide adequate drainage of runoff for the entire site. <br />b. Make necessary repairs of erosion channels within 30 days of receipt of this inspection report and take <br />measures to prevent future waste exposure. <br />20530 - Site Security <br />Comments: Front gate was unlocked at time of inspection. <br />a. Secure the gate. <br />b. Provide adequate site security. <br />
