Results from the Third Quarter show no exceedences in any well. An increasing trend was
indicated for Chloride in MW-2. Therefore, an intrawell tolerance limit was not updated for
Chloride in MW-2. Although Chloride shows an increasing statistical trend, the concentration is
well within drinking water standards. Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's)were again not
detected this quarter which may be an indication that improvements to the landfill gas control
system have proven to be beneficial. This is the third consecutive quarter in which no VOC's were
detected.
This report was prepared to comply with current Waste Discharge Requirements Order No. 96-139.
If you have any questions, please call me at (209)468-3066.
Sincerely,
41w
MICHAEL KALISH
Associate Engineer
MK:cg
N:\M ichael\HL\G Wmon\3rd001et.Nrpd
Enclosure
c: Robert McClellon,Public Health Services,Environmental Health Division
LA 64201
