KLEINEELDER <br /> 9 NONCONFORMANCE <br /> Any deficiencies or failed tests shall be recorded on the daily log. Deficiencies or failed <br /> areas that are corrected and retested that day shall be marked as corrected on the daily log <br /> and no separate Nonconformance Report is required. <br /> When a tested area of deficiency or nonconformance has not been brought into <br /> conformance, or has not been tested for conformance by the QA/QC technician by the <br /> time the technician leaves the site for the day, a separate Nonconformance Report shall be <br /> written. <br /> An area of nonconformance shall not be left more than five days without being brought <br /> into conformance, unless approved by the Engineer. In the case of delayed conformance, a <br /> a Delayed Conformance Report shall be prepared by the QA/QC technician and kept in a <br /> separate file. <br /> After bringing an area to conformance, the conformance shall be recorded on the daily log <br /> and on the original Nonconformance Report and Delayed Conformance Report with the <br /> date of conformance and the confirming test results. <br /> In the event of a failing test, all material for the lift being tested extending to the adjacent <br /> passing tests shall be removed and/or reworked until passing tests are obtained.
