Responsible for municipal survey work including construction surveys, topographical surveys, map preparation, land surveys, and landfill grade control. Division Head responsibility for refuse collection & disposal including refuse collection contract administration, recycling, resource recovery and landfill operations. During this time, I developed a recycling program, developed preliminary resource recovery plans (now under construction) , closed a sanitary landfill, and sited and developed a new state of the art sanitary landfill with a leachate collection system and a full monitoring system. Preparation and implementation of County-wide Integrated Waste Management Plan including source reduction, recycling, composting, public education, and household hazardous waste management.
