Box 388
Stockton, CA 95201-0388
Subject: Cove Contractors Landfill Closure and Post Closure Maintenance Plan
Response to Regulatory Comments
Dear Ms. Oz:
On behalf of Cove Contractors, I am requesting a two week extension to the November 1, 1995,
deadline for submission of comments to the Environmental Health Division Letter dated July 28,
1995. As you are aware, Cove Contractors and Kleinfelder only recently became aware of this
letter (thank you for faxing us a copy on October 15). Evidently, the letters were lost in the mail
since we did not receive the letter back in July. Given that we have only had a few weeks to
respond to the request for additional information in the letter, our request for a two week
extension is not unreasonable.
Please call if you have any questions or require additional information.
Sincerely,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
Timothy A.
