• 0
JOB SUMMARY AND HAZARD ANALYSIS
3.1 JOB SUMMARY
As mentioned previously, the project involves remediation of an 11 acre Site that has impacted
groundwater due to historical Site usage. The remedial action for the Site includes groundwater
monitoring well installation and sampling. Depending on Site conditions, the field activities are
anticipated to be completed in approximately 1 week.
Vehicle access will be through the gate along the southwest perimeter of the Site (see Figure 2).
Potential underground utilities and structures will need to be identified prior to any on-Site
activities. Therefore, at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of supplemental assessment
and/or RAW activities, field personnel will contact the Underground Service Alert (USA).
COCs are present in the groundwater beneath the Site. Therefore, the known or suspected
pathways of exposure are inhalation, dermal contact, or incidental ingestion.
Based on this information, the Site specific health and safety evaluation is provided in the
following section.
4r[t a scs
PA707 Cove Contractors\Groundwater\Well Installation Workplans\SHSP\SHSP_FINAL.doc
