In addition, other information such as speed limits, the location of all tipping and <br />parking areas and the allowable direction of traffic flow are clearly posted. <br />3.3.4 PARKING <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17409.6, adequate off-street parking areas are <br />provided. Three separate parking areas are available at the CVWSMRF/TS for <br />employees, visitors and equipment. The first parking lot is located north of the <br />Administration building and provides 50 parking spaces for administrative personnel <br />and visitors. Disabled and van accessible spaces are also provided in the visitors <br />parking area. The second parking lot is comprised of two separate parking areas which <br />are located to the east of the scale house and to the south of the maintenance shop <br />area. These two parking areas provide and additional 60 parking spaces for facility <br />employees. The third parking lot is located to the east of the shop and provides <br />approximately 60 parking spaces for collection trucks and heavy equipment. The <br />location of these parking lots are identified on the Site Plan (Figure 2). <br />3.3.5 COMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT <br />in accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17415.1, adequate communication <br />equipment is available to site personnel to allow response to emergencies. <br />Facility managers, supervisors and equipment operators are equipped with <br />pagers and portable radios to communicate with each other. Managers have <br />offices on site which are furnished with telephones to be used for internal and <br />external communications. Scale and gate house operators also have access to <br />portable radios and telephones which will permit communication to the Plant <br />Manager and the main office. <br />3.3.6 FIRE FIGHTING EQUIPMENT <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17415.2 fire suppression equipment is <br />continuously available at the CVWSMRF/TS. Fire hydrants and hoses are <br />available at several locations on site. The exact location of fire hydrants can be <br />seen on the Site Plan (see Figure 2). All areas of the premises and each piece of <br />equipment has a fire extinguisher. Fire fighting equipment is available and can <br />readily be accessed.
