Figure 5 and 6 shows the floor <br />plan of the transfer building and MRF where waste handling and recycling <br />activities are conducted. Figure 7 shows the typical flow of traffic into and out <br />of the facility and Figure 8 shows the drainage plan. <br />2.3.2 DESIGN CALCULATIONS <br />The CVWS was designed in accordance with accepted engineering practices <br />for this type of waste handling facility. Title 14 CCR regulations pertaining to <br />the operation of transfer stations were developed to evaluate a facility's <br />performance through objective periodic inspections. Design criteria utilized to <br />determine the station's waste handling capacity, traffic loading and drainage <br />system capability have been demonstrated repeatedly by the level of <br />compliance the operator is able to maintain at the current permitted tonnage <br />allowed for in the 1997 SWFP. <br />Central Valley Waste Services 2-4 <br />Transfer Processing Report <br />Section 2 — 4/24/17 <br />
