Mercury lamps will be placed in appropriate size boxes, <br />neatly stacked to prevent breakage. Broken lamps will be <br />placed in a 5 gallon bucket. <br />Batteries will be sorted by type and placed in drums or 5 <br />gallon buckets <br />Mercury devices (thermometers, thermostats) will be placed <br />in 5 gallon buckets. <br />All containers of Universal Wastes from collection events or loadcheck <br />acceptance will be appropriately labeled with the generator name and <br />information, the proper Universal Waste shipping name, and the <br />accumulation date. <br />All Universal Wastes will be shipped to an approved recycling facility. <br />The current Universal Waste contractor for recycling and collection <br />events is Onsite Electronics Recycling. In the event that <br />CVWS changes/adds a Universal Waste contractor, the San Joaquin <br />County Environmental Health Department will be notified within 30 <br />days. <br />The CVWS also manages Treated Wood Wastes (TWW) received via <br />loadcheck activities which are subject to the DTSC alternative <br />management standards Currently the facility does not accept directly <br />from the public but may choose to do so in the future. TWW <br />management will meet the following requirements. <br />• Obtaining an identification number if more than 10,000 pounds <br />of TWW is generated. <br />• Maintaining records of shipments of TWW and reporting in <br />compliance with 22 CCR 67386.8. <br />• Labeling TWW in compliance with 22 CCR 67386.5. <br />• Storing TWW in compliance with 22 CCR 67386.6. <br />• Training of employees handling TWW in compliance with 22 <br />CCR 67386.12 and/or of employees performing re -sizing of <br />TWW for transportation purposes in compliance with 22 CCR <br />67386.10 (d); <br />• Disposal of TWW to land only at a Class I hazardous waste <br />landfill or a solid waste landfill unit that meets the requirements <br />of 22 CCR 67386.11. <br />Central valley waste Services 3-11 <br />Transfer Processing Report <br />Section 3 — 4/24/17 <br />
