Site lighting is <br />installed according to all City and County standards. <br />3.3.8 SITE SECURITY <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17418.1, site security at the <br />facility is provided. An eight -foot high masonry wall or an eight -foot <br />high slatted chain-link fence surrounding the entire facility provides <br />station security. Entrance gates are locked after normal operating <br />hours. Yard lights are kept on during night hours. The transfer station <br />and MRF -front gates are also protected by a video surveillance <br />system. The location of the entrance gates, wall and fencing are <br />shown on Figure 2. <br />3.3.9 VISUAL SCREENING <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17419.1, the CVVVSMRF <br />Q/� f BS was designed and is operated to provide an attractive and <br />aesthetically acceptable appearance. The facility is located in <br />relatively low-density industrial and agricultural setting. As part of a <br />"Good Neighbor" policy to obstruct visibility into the operations, trees <br />have been planted and an 8 foot block wall, earthen berms and slatted <br />chain link fence have been constructed along the perimeter of the site. <br />In addition, landscaping has also been established at select locations <br />around the facility. This integrated system reduces any "unsightly" <br />equipment and operations and reduces odors and litter migration off <br />the site. <br />3.3.10 WATER SUPPLY <br />In accordance with 14 CCR, Section 17419.2, potable water is <br />available for station personnel at the CVWSMRF/TS.
