Commercial Salvage T.S. Page 3 of 3
39-AA-018
17486 Station Construction
The movable dividers and bins in the unloading area had been
reorganized so as not to trap accumulations of waste in corners
and cracks as identified by the first inspector.
17512 - Cleaning
The station had been thoroughly cleaned since the first
inspection.
17520 - Storage of Salvage
The pile of moist paper pulp had been reduced so that it was
being cycled through the station within 48 hours of receipt. It
must be noted however that this material must continue to be
handled as a putrecible waste.
17533 - Vector and Bird Control
The vector problem identified by the first inspector had been
reduced. No vectors were observed during this inspection.
17535 - Litter Control
Reorganization of the unloading area had reduced the amount of
litter blowing out the front gate of the site and accumulating in
the lot across the street to the south as documented by the first
inspector.
17557 - Station Maintenance
The large hole in the main gate identified by the first inpector
had been repaired.
CONCLUSION
I found the site to be generally well operated and maintained
with only the few problems noted above. The operators had
invensted considerable energy in solving many of the problems
identifed on the first inspection.
,)Ua-ste Management Specialist
