Page 2 of 3 <br /> 39-AA-018 <br /> INDETERMINATES <br /> Complinace with thefollowingCAC Sections was given an <br /> indeterminate status pending further investigation. the site was <br /> found in complinace with all other applicable standards. <br /> 17462 - Loa of Special Occurrences <br /> A log of special occurrences was available at site office. <br /> However, there had been no entries in the log for the 2 months <br /> preceeding the inspection. CAC Section requires that the log <br /> contain information regarding fires, injury and property damage <br /> accidents, explosions, -incidents regarding hazardous waste, <br /> flooding, and other unusual occurrences. <br /> 17557 - Station Maintenance Pr2gram. <br /> Subsidence over the facility underground fuel storage tank had <br /> cause overlying pavement to buckle and crack (Slide 27) . This <br /> situation suggests that the integrity of the fuel storage and <br /> delivery system may be compromised and should be inspected. <br /> AREAS OP CONCERN <br /> The following potential problems and/or areas of concern were <br /> noted during the inspection: <br /> 17562 - Hazardous Wastes <br /> Several car batteries were seen stored at various locations <br /> around the station yard. Batteries should be stored on a pallet <br /> in safe, central location. If more than ten batteries are <br /> accumulated, the operator must manage them according to <br /> Government Code title 22, Section 66822 (Management of Spent <br /> Lead-Acid Batteries) . <br /> CORRECTIONS IMPLEMENTED <br /> The following corrective measures were undertaken at the site <br /> between the first and second field inspections: <br /> 17481 - Identification Signs <br /> A sign identifying the the name of the station operator had been <br /> placed at the main gate. <br />
