Describe Proposed General ' Ian (GP) Amendments and/or <br /> rezoning/ ezonin (Zoning) Requests, If Applicable: <br /> The proposed project is requesting the rezoning of Assessor's Parcel <br /> Numbers; 153-180-04, 153-180-06, 153-180-08 and 153-180-55 from <br /> Industrial, Limited (IL) to Industrial, General (IG). <br /> The project is also requesting zoning of the abandoned portion of F Street to <br /> Industrial, General (IG). This area is presently unzoned. <br /> 10. Describe Any Site Alterations Which Result From The ProposedProject: <br /> (Address the amount and location of grading, cuts and fills, <br /> vegetation/tree removal, alterations to drainage, removal of existing <br /> structures, etc.) <br /> The proposed project site is designated and zoned for industrial use; it is a <br /> fully developed industrial site that is occupied by the existing East Stockton <br /> Recycling and Transfer Station and adjoining recently acquired property. The <br /> proposed project will remove the existing 2,580 SF equipment shop, the <br /> 2,220 SF building located south of the maintenance. building and 1,050 SF of <br /> the 3,900 SF process building. The truck scale will also be removed and the <br /> scrap metal area and material processing area and storage will be relocated, <br /> (Figure 2-7). The entire project site will be paved and graded. On-site <br /> drainage will be slightly altered with the removal of two existing storm drains, <br /> and construction of the proposed 33,400 SF building, however, storm drains <br /> will be relocated adjacent to the north and east of the new building and <br /> drainage will still flow south. <br /> 11. Specific Project Description/Operational Characteristics: <br /> a. DescribeProposed Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and <br /> Recreational Uses (all non-residential uses): <br /> The proposed project is recycling facility which presently accepts <br /> construction and demolition material and will accept residential and <br /> commercial single stream recyclables and glass. On-site activities will <br /> include sorting, dismantling and packaging of recyclable materials.
