KLEONFEL®ER
Bright People.Right Solutions.
Mitigation Measures: None required
2. AGRICULTURAL RESOURCES Potentially Less Than Less Than No Impact
Significant Significant Significant
Impact With Impact
Mitigation
In determining whether impacts on agricultural resources are significant Incorporation
environmental effects, lead agencies may refer to the California
Agricultural Land Evaluation And Site Assessment Model (1997)
prepared by the California Department Of Conservation.
Would the project:
a. Convert Prime Farmland, Unique Farmland, or Farmland of
Statewide Importance (Farmland), as shown on the maps prepared 4
pursuant to the Farmland Mapping and Monitoring Program of the
California Resources Agency, to non-agricultural use?
b. Conflict with existing zoning for agricultural use or conflict with a
Williamson Act contract?
c. Involve other changes in the existing environment that, due to their
location or nature, could result in conversion of Farmland to non- 4
agricultural use?
NARRATIVE ISC SI
Environmental Setting
The project site has historically been in industrial use, with the exception of a single-
family home that exists on the northwest corner of Weber Avenue and F Street. The
State's Important Farmland Map for the San Joaquin County (1998) indicates that the
project site is considered "Urban and Built Up Land." The proposed site is designated
for industrial development. All of the lands surrounding the project site are mapped by
the state as being in the "Urban and Built Up Lands" category. There are no Williamson
Act contracts on the proposed project site.
Environmental Impacts
The proposed project would result in the expansion and re-development of an existing
industrial site; land use will remain the same except for an increase in industrial use on
the project site west of F Street. There are no agricultural lands on, adjacent to, or in
the vicinity of the project site, and, therefore, development of the project would not result
in the loss of existing potential agricultural land or impacts on other agricultural lands or
uses. Impacts to agricultural resources are considered less than significant.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
Mitigation Measures: None required
g q
1213391ST011 R226 3-13 October 14, 2011
Copyright 2011 Kleinfelder
