KLE/NFEL®E
Bright People.Right Solutions.
Monitoring: The Municipal Utilities Department will be responsible for review and
approval of storm water quality improvement plans, for assessing project
compliance with City codes and for ensuring that the project has executed a
maintenance agreement for post BMPs. The State will review and approve the
Notice of Intent and Erosion Control Plan prior to the issuance of a Grading Permit.
Groundwater Impacts of the Project
The project would have no substantial effect on groundwater. Grading and excavation
associated with the project would be relatively shallow in nature and would not impact
groundwater resources beneath the site. The project would not directly obtain water
from a groundwater well, but would derive its water supply from the California Water
Service Company potable system, which is supplied by a mix of surface and
groundwater sources.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
Mitigation Measures: None required
Project Exposure to Flooding
The proposed project would involve no significant exposure to flooding. As previously
stated, the project site is not located in a designated 100-year floodplain area. As
previously noted, most of Stockton is exposed to risks of dam failure; however, these
risks were deemed acceptable by the City when it adopted the Stockton General Plan
2035 and associated EIR.
Level of Significance: Less than significant
Mitigation Measures: None required
9 ® PLANNING Potentially Less Than Less Than No
.
