The
Fire Department has 13 stations located throughout the greater Stockton metropolitan
area. The closest station to serve the project site is Station 12, which is located at 4010
iEast Main Street, approximately 1.5 miles from the project site. It is equipped with one
fire engine, one grass rig and 11 personnel. The response time to the project site would
be approximately four minutes. Fire hydrants are located on Weber Avenue between
the existing Weber Avenue entrance/exit, on the south corner of Weber Avenue and
Filbert Street, on F Street across from the employee parking and storage area, and at
the north end of F Street by the railroad tracks. The closest of the three existing
ihydrants to the buildings is about 80 feet.
Law enforcement services for the project site will be the responsibility of the Stockton
Police Department. The closest police station to the project site is the main station,
located at 22 East Market Street, approximately 2.5 miles from the project site. The
backup police station is located at 7209 N. Tam O'Shanter Drive; this station would
provide secondary response to an emergency located at the project site (Bob Marconi,
pers. comm.). It is the Police Department's policy to respond to all emergency calls
within a three- to five-minute time period.
