0 <br />MAINTENANCE <br />Regular maintenance and inspection will be conducted properly and on a regular basis <br />according to establish procedures. <br />The service person and or heavy equipment operators is responsible for maintaining <br />equipment and systems installed to prevent or control ignition of fires. <br />HOUSEKEEPING PROCEDURES <br />All waste oil must be removed within 90 days of the start of accumulation. <br />All materials pulled during load check — generator of the material is notified to pick, up the <br />material within 48 hours. <br />Regular maintenance of landscape; to prevent dry brush. <br />OPERATION OF CRITICAL EQUIPMENT <br />Procedure for employees who must remain to operate critical equipment before they can <br />evacuate the facility: Heavy equipment operators and laborers will report to safe area in <br />case of evacuation. After an accounting of employees (head count) the Operations <br />Manager or Office Manager will determine if operation of critical equipment is needed. <br />WATER SUPPLY WELL OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS <br />Manifold <br />The manifold is painted brown, is identified "manifold" and is located across the main <br />entrance road across from the landfill trailer and contains 6 handles. Each handle is <br />labeled 1-6. The handle opens the valve, which supply the following lines. <br />Whichever line(s) is to be used must be in the "on" position with other lines in the "off" <br />position if not in use. <br />Handle #1- feeds the 4" fire truck hookup line down by Little John Creek to be <br />used for emergency. <br />Handle #2- is a by-pass which would be used to relieve water pressure while <br />running sprinklers or if needed to relieve water pressure while <br />running any other line. <br />Handle #3- feeds the standpipe to fill the water truck. <br />0 Handle #4- feeds the 2 1/2 " fire hose hook up at main entrance. <br />3/17/2011 <br />
