Solid Waste: NO <br /> Expansion of the operations at Independent Trucking will have an insignificant effect on <br /> solid waste facilities and utilities, because it is a solid waste handling facility processing <br /> recyclable materials. Non-recyclable materials represented less than 2% of the entire <br /> tonnage handled by this facility, in 1995. Independent Trucking has associate companies <br /> that provide waste hauling and landfill services. <br /> b. Water Supply: NO <br /> Water usage is not a part of the processing operations at Independent Trucking. Increase <br /> in water usage over the next five years is estimated to be no more than a 3% annual <br /> increase each year. <br /> C. Liquid Waste: NO <br /> No liquid waste is accepted or generated by Independent Trucking. <br /> d. Storm Water: NO <br /> Storm water management is being appropriately addressed through the preparation of a <br /> Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and a Storm Water Monitoring Plan for the <br /> California Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br /> e. Gas and Electric: NO <br /> Gas and electricity usage are predicted to increase in the future based on increases in <br /> materials processing. However no plans exist to purchase new equipment. <br /> f. Other Urban Services: NO <br /> 2. Traffic and circulation: <br /> Currently at Independent Trucking, an estimated 20 large deliveries occur in an average <br /> day and 26 occur on a peak day. These numbers are expected to increase to 22 and 27, <br /> respectively, over the next five years. <br />
