NOTIFICATION TO SOLID WASTE HAULERS <br />The Lovelace Road Transfer Station is used by licensed <br />haulers collecting commercial and industrial waste, and by <br />the general public. The licensed haulers have agreements <br />with the County to perform these collections. These <br />collectors received notification by mail of the following: <br />Requirements of state laws prohibit the disposal of <br />hazardous wastes and liquids at Lovelace Road Transfer <br />Station. To monitor compliance with these requirements a <br />load checking program has been implemented at this site <br />for detecting hazardous wastes and liquids which are <br />prohibited at the site. <br />0 Wastes which are prohibited are the following: <br />Chemicals or chemical sludges which are toxic, <br />corrosive, an irritant, or a strong sensitizer. <br />Drugs. <br />Infectious wastes. <br />Radioactive wastes. <br />
