Box 1099, Lathrop, CA 95330 <br />C71 <br />March 25, 1990 <br />To: Mr. Tom Horton <br />From: Battalion Chief Fred Manding <br />Subject: Lovelace Transfer Station <br />On March 21, 1990, 1 conducted an on sight inspection at the <br />Lovelace Transfer Station. Also on hand was -Mr. Rudy Rodriguez <br />from your dept. <br />The purpose of the inspection was for a fire department clearance <br />for the Environmental Health Division. <br />At this time the Manteca -Lathrop Fire District does not have any <br />objection to the continued use of the Lovelace Transfer Station. <br />Although the fire district would like to make the following <br />recommendations: <br />1. All fire hose used at the Lovelace Transfer Station should be <br />tested annually at the Manteca -Lathrop Fire District Head <br />quarters Station, 800 "J" Street, Lathrop, Calif. <br />Hose will be tested according to fire department standards. <br />This will insure the safety of all personnel using this item. <br />2. Replace all (1 1/2") nozzles with fire department approved <br />nozzles. <br />3. All 1 1/211 hose should be stored after daily use. Due to <br />climatic conditions deteriorating the hose being left out. <br />4.
