Hours of Operation <br /> The hours of operation to be shown in the modified permit are: <br /> 1. Commercial Haulers: 6:00a.m. - 5:00p.m. daily <br /> 2 . General Public: 8: 00a.m. - 5:00p.m. daily <br /> B. Sanitary Facilities <br /> The portable toilets at Lovelace have been replaced with a <br /> permanent restroom with a septic tank system. <br /> C. Scale <br /> The county has installed a 60 ton computerized scale system <br /> located at the entrance to the facility. <br /> D. Hazardous Waste <br /> A hazardous waste exclusion program has been implemented. The <br /> program includes load checking, exclusion procedures, employee <br /> training, and handling hazardous waste. <br /> E. vehicle Tarping <br /> A vehicle Carping program has been implemented at Lovelace. <br /> All vehicles entering the facility must be covered. If vehicle <br /> comes in uncovered, the operator of the vehicle must either pay <br /> double the fee or purchase a tarp supplied at the gate before <br /> entering. <br /> F. Waste Received <br /> The permit should be modified to include the following wastes <br /> in the list of wastes accepted: <br /> 1. Paper Products <br /> 2 . Glass <br /> 3. Metals <br /> 4. Garden Refuse <br /> 5. Wood Waste <br /> 6. Plastics <br /> 7. Industrial Refuse <br /> 8. Used Oil and Batteries <br /> G. Equipment <br /> A backhoe is currently being used to spread and compact the <br /> waste in the transfer trucks. The backhoe is stationed above the <br /> pit at the south end of the transfer station. <br />
