H. Added Prohibitions <br /> The following should be listed as prohibited in the modified <br /> permit: <br /> 1. Disposal of liquid waste/slurries <br /> 2. Disposal of septic tank pumpings/sewage sludge <br /> I. Waste Quantities <br /> The permit should be modified to approve a daily peak load of <br /> 700 tons. Waste quantities should fall under this figure until the <br /> next five year review. <br /> J. Hazardous Waste Storage <br /> A waste storage locker has been installed to store any <br /> hazardous waste encountered in the hazardous waste exclusion <br /> program. Any hazardous waste will be emptied from the locker <br /> within 90 days. <br /> K. Waste Distribution <br /> Some waste is temporarily being transferred to the Stanislaus <br /> County incineration plant. This is an experiment that may be <br /> stopped at any time. <br /> L. Future Plans <br /> The northwest corner of the site will be developed as a <br /> recycling area. This area is approximately 150ft. by 150ft. , and <br /> it will be fenced, paved, and sloped to drain into the station's <br /> storm drainage pond. Recyclables will be sorted and placed in <br /> roll-off boxes, and wood waste will be stockpiled. The county will <br /> purchase several roll-off boxes and a truck to transport the boxes <br /> of recyclable materials to market. <br /> Used oil and batteries will be accepted at the station in the <br /> future, and a plan of operation will be submitted to the LEA for <br /> approval before accepting used oil and batteries.
