14 CCR 17534 - Drainage Control
Citation•
Site Inspector Ramos was told by Rudy Rodriguez (Assistant
Civil Engineer) that the storm drainage pond was unlined. Mr.
Ramos contacted the Regional Water Quality Control Board
(RWQCB) , Central Valley Region and spoke with Bill Marshall.
According to Mr. Marshall, the pond may have to be lined. He
stated that they will have to evaluate the status of the pond
before they can take any action.
The Regional Board inspected the site pond and sent
correspondence regarding the pond to the County on May 18,
1990.
The letter requests that liquids discharged to the pond be
analyzed during the rainy season to determine if they are 69
designated wastes". Retrofitting or treatment will then be
necessary if designated wastes" are found.
The County will comply with the request by the RWQCB staff to
have the liquid in the pond analyzed during the rainy season
(1990-1991) . Collection and sampling will be taken from the
pond in the first week of November 1990. If no discharge to
the pond has occurred by then, sampling will be taken during
the next rainfall that produces a discharge to the pond. The
County agrees to comply with any corrective actions required
by the RWQCB over this issue. A copy of the RWQCB letter is
attached to this agreement.
COMPLIANCE SUMMARY
Violations Plans Action Schedule
14CCR 17483 Perimeter fence Repaired, June 1990
repair
Station Security
Fence pond Complete by Sept.30, 1990
Improve and Defer for area
fence recycle improvement within
area next 5 years.
14 CCR 17535 Prevent litter Modify fence at
from blowing S.E.
