The station is <br /> screened from public view. I did not observe the accumulation of <br /> fuel drums, parts, scrap, or inoperable equipment. Only necessary <br /> fuel and oil drums were kept on site as maintenance equipment is <br /> housed at the County equipment yard. <br /> 14 CCR 17556 General (Maintenance) <br /> Observations made during the inspection indicated that the operator <br /> had instituted an adequate preventive maintenance program for station <br /> equipment and facilities. Roads, fences, and equipment were repaired <br /> regularly. The station was well maintained. <br /> 14 CCR 17561 Burning Waste <br /> I did not observe any burning wastes during this inspection. <br /> 14 CCR 17562 Hazardous Wastes <br /> No hazardous waste is accepted at this site. The station has a <br /> hazardous waste screening program. <br /> 14 CCR 17563 Infectious Wastes <br /> The site does not accept infectious waste. I did not observe any <br /> infectious waste at this facility. <br /> 14 CCR 17564 Liquid Wastes <br /> I did not observe any liquid wastes received during this inspection. <br /> CONCLUSIONS <br /> No violations of State Law were documented in the inspection of the <br /> Lovelace Large Volume Transfer Station. However , three areas of <br /> concern were noted regarding compliance with a State Minimum <br /> Standard. The operator must be directed to address the areas of <br /> concern outlined in this report as soon as possible in order to be in <br /> compliance with applicable sections of 14 CCR and 30 PRC. <br /> The overall condition and appearance of this facility was excellent. <br /> It is apparent that the operator and site employees take pride in <br /> station operations . <br /> f <br /> Waste Management Specialist <br />
