0 0
Lovelace Large Volume Transfer Station
14 CCR 17550 Housekeeping
Housekeeping was not observed to be a problem. The station is
screened from public view. I did not observe the accumulation of
fuel drums, parts, scrap, or inoperable equipment. Only necessary
fuel and oil drums were kept on site as maintenance equipment is
housed at the County equipment yard.
14 CCR 17556 General (Maintenance)
Observations made during the inspection indicated that the operator
had instituted an adequate preventive maintenance program for station
equipment and facilities. Roads, fences, and equipment were repaired
regularly. The station was well maintained.
14 CCR 17561 Burning Waste
I did not observe any burning wastes during this inspection.
14 CCR 17562 Hazardous Wastes
No hazardous waste is accepted at this site. The station has a
hazardous waste screening program.
14 CCR 17563 Infectious Wastes
The site does not accept infectious waste. I did not observe any
infectious waste at this facility.
14 CCR 17564 Liquid Wastes
I did not observe any liquid wastes received during this inspection.
CONCLUSIONS
No violations of State Law were documented in the inspection of the
Lovelace Large Volume Transfer Station. However , three areas of
concern were noted regarding compliance with a State Minimum
Standard. The operator must be directed to address the areas of
concern outlined in this report as soon as possible in order to be in
compliance with applicable sections of 14 CCR and 30 PRC.
The overall condition and appearance of this facility was excellent.
It is apparent that the operator and site employees take pride in
station operations .
f
Waste Management Specialist
