W 16
Item No. 1
B/A ,2-10-77
-76-79
Page 3
- In June 1975 a mobile office was approved and the use permit modified as
it regards the conditions of the existing structure and the hours of
operation. The final condition indicated if the structure had not been
repaired or replaced the matter was to be brought to the Board. To our
knowledge this work has not been accomplished.
- The expansion being requested has already commenced. A parcel of land was
created to the rear of the existing station without benefit of permits.
- Just to the east, the Board of Zoning Adjustment denied an application for
a contractors storage yard on the grounds that it was an industrial use.
As mentioned, this use permit was granted as a transfer station only. I
appears as though it is evolving into an equipment storage and repair yard
which would require light industrial zoning.
RECOMMENDATION AND FINDINGS
Ratify the Negative Declaration.
- Denial, with the finding that the expansion would constitute an Industrial
activity which would not be in conformance with the General Plan designation
of Agriculture.
