However, the following areas of concern were noted: <br /> 17486 - Station Contruction <br /> A high scaffolding was used by employees to check and adjust the <br /> loads of out-going transfer trucks (Slide 6) . This operation <br /> appeared to unnecessarily endangered site employees. Ken <br /> Belcher, Site Supervisor stated that the practice was to be <br /> discontinued in the near future in favor of a safer althernative. <br /> 17557 - Station Maintenace Program <br /> Large pot holes in the pavement near the employees but were in <br /> need of repair (Slide 11) . <br /> 17562 - Hazardous Waste <br /> Used motoroilfrom a recently discontinued recycling program was <br /> observed to be stored at the site. This oil should be removed <br /> within 90 days of receipt in order to comply with state hazardous <br /> waste regulations. <br /> CORRECTIONS IMPLEKENTED <br /> The following corrective measures were undertaken at the site <br /> between the first and second field inspections: <br /> 17492 - Water §ypply <br /> Employee drinking water supplied by an on-site well was tested at <br /> the request of the first inspector and found to be in compliance <br /> with State Drinking Water Standards. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> I found the site to be generally well operated and maintained <br /> with only the few problems noted above. <br /> ltoWbte ManagemenSpecialist <br />
