This activityis currently conducted in an open area without benefit of a controlled environment. The proposed expansion project will bring the solid waste handling operation into an enclosed building for which vector controls can be established. Findings: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in the Final E1R. Statement of Fact: The impact will be reduced by the following: Confine the waste handling operation to the Transfer Building. All doors, windows, and inscreened openings should remain closed unless actually in use. Provide pest control services around perimeter of the building as necessary. H.
