The report shall be completed when the hazardous waste is secured <br /> in a locked container, and will be submitted by site supervisory staff to the LEA within 48 hours. <br /> The waste will be stored in the temporary hazardous waste storage area located near the <br /> entrance to the MRF (Figure 4). The waste will be removed within the timeframe required by Title <br /> 22, Section 66262.34. <br /> Copies of the load checking records for the last year are maintained in the operating record and <br /> are available for review by the regulatory agencies. <br /> Some of the materials diverted from the commercial and residential waste stream for <br /> management in accordance with the State and Federal regulations include: <br /> . Latex Paint <br /> • Automobile parts and components <br /> • Refrigerators <br /> • Cathode Ray Tubes (CRT's) <br /> • Computer Monitors <br /> • Automobile and Truck Tires <br /> • Waste oil and Filters <br /> The acceptance and management of these items is regularly re-evaluated based on the <br /> requirements of State and Federal law. (See Load Checking and Appendix F: Hazardous Waste <br /> Exclusion Program). <br /> Wastes requiring special handling or treatment, with the exception of tires, are not generally <br /> accepted. Whole tires will be segregated from the waste stream by hand and stacked (laced <br /> fashion)when deposited in a trailer. The tires will be transported off-site by "Golden By-Products <br /> Incorporated" for disposal and /or recycling. A loading dock is constructed in the south end of <br /> the tipping/sorting floor entrance for loading tires onto the trailer.
