v <br />11 <br />"Operator Notification" moved <br />3.4.4 1.9.4 Operator Notification from Section 3.4.4 (found on <br />page 8 of new document) <br />The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Management Division is <br />directly responsible for management and operation of the Facility. The Department of Public <br />Works has been responsible for the management and operation of the Station since 1977. <br />"Employee Training <br />Records" moved from <br />3.4.5 1.9.5 Employee Training Records Section 3.4.5 (found on <br />page 8 of new document) <br />Employee training generally consists of on-the-job training under the supervision of a staff person <br />experienced in the aspect of the skill being taught. Potential hazards and safety procedures are <br />stressed and meetings to discuss safety and procedural issues are scheduled regularly. <br />All employees receive training in recognizing and responding to hazardous waste spills and <br />disposal. In addition to the above, specialized training is provided to specific employees (forklift, <br />etc) and all employees attend bi-weekly safety meetings. <br />"Inspection Records" moved <br />from Section 3.4.6 (found on <br />page 8 of new document) <br />Weight and Volume Records are computerized and can be accessed at the Solid Waste <br />Administrative Offices.
