Bigycles and Pedestrians
Project implementation would not create an obstacle to connecting existing or planned bicycle or
pedestrian facilities.
Impacts
The reader should note#=the proposed project does not create a large number of trips. In 1995, the
facility will generate approximately SOO daily trips and by 2010, the facility will generate approximately
1,100 daily trips. Since Me trips are dispersed over an entire day, there is little relative impact to other
users of the local transportation system. As a result, the impacts listed below are less than significant.
Roadway Structural Conditions
!Mpnalst
4.3-1 Implementation of the project would Increase 3, 4, and 5 or more axle truck traffic on
MacArthur Drive,Unne Road,Tracy Boulevard,Corral Hollow Road,Chrisman Road and 11 th
Street The addifional project truck traffic does not change the 2010 no project TI value. The
impact significance criteria considers a significant impact as an increase in the TI of greater than
1.0. Therefore, this impact is less than significant.
Mitigation
4.3-1 No mitigation is required or recommended.
Intersection Operations
!Mpact
4.3-2 Implementation of the project would Increase traffic accessing the intersections of MacArthur
Drive and Urine Road,Corral Hollow Road and Urine Road,Tracy Boulevard and Urine Road,
Chrisman Road and Urine Road, and Chrisman Road and 11th Street. All five intersections
operate at LOS C or better with the addition of project traffic at start up. The impact significance
criteria considers a significant impact as an exceedence of LOS D. Therefore, this impact is less
than significant
Mitigation
4.3-2 No mitigation is required or recommended.
Impact
4.3-3 Implementation of the project would increase traffic accessing the intersections of MacArthur
Drive and Urine Road,Corral Hollow Road and Urine Road,Tracy Boulevard and Urine Road,
Chrisman Road and Urine Road, and Chrisman Road and 11th Street.
