Peak Loading <br />18221.6(k) description of provisions to handle unusual peak loading <br />The Facility design capacity is 7,972 TPD and 4,320 VPD for the combined <br />operations of the Material Recovery & Transfer Facility where only 1,800 TPD <br />1,245 VPD cumulatively is being permitted. A Facility Capacity Study providing <br />detailed analysis of the design capacity for each aspect of operations is provided <br />in Appendix F. <br />Peak loading will be handled using existing equipment and manpower within the <br />posted operating hours. The staffing is flexible for when one waste stream may be <br />at a seasonal low, another may be at peak, and transfer of specific materials will <br />transition to another.
