Hazardous Waste: The facility Will be available for periodic household hazardous waste events sponsored by Joaquin County. Any hazardous materials-discovered in the waste stream will be temporarily stored in a hazardous waste locker until disposed of off the site. The facility will accept 1@c clable household hazardous materials such as used oil; lead acid batteries, and antifreeze. These materials will be labeled,stored at the site in special-bins and containers, and transported off the site by-dealers in these commodities. As required by the California Integrated Waste Management Board,a load screeningprogram be implemented at the transfer station. The facility will also not accept any hazardous commercial ` or industrial waste. P g am will ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS: All of the issues identified and analyzed in the EIR can be mitigated to less than significant levels.
