Truck bodies in which unwrapped garbage is hauled <br /> should be cleaned daily, especially during the fly- <br /> breeding season - May through October, <br /> b, Refuse vehicles should be cleaned at least once weekly® <br /> c. Garbage trucks, both truck and running gear, shall <br /> be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected by means of an <br /> approved disinfectant (chlorine, bromine or similar <br /> product) or by the use of live steam, <br /> (2) All vehicles, conveyances, or containers must be stored <br /> on clean and approved premises equipped with necessary <br /> washdown and disinfection facilities. Equipment washdown <br /> areas must be properly drained and connected to an <br /> approved waste water disposal facility, such as a public <br /> sewer or an approved septic tank system. <br /> a. Installation, construction or conversion of equip- <br /> ment storage and washdown facilities shall comply <br /> with applicable County Zoning, Building, and Health <br /> District requirements, and shall be operated in such <br /> a manner as not to constitute a nuisance, <br /> -6- <br />
