The <br /> applicant filed a renewal of Its hazardous waste permit for WMU-A on October 31,2000 <br /> (Kleinfeider, 2000)that presents the controls and monitoring of WMU-A. The applicants JTD <br /> describes creating a wedge of landfill material north of WMU-A that would keep a buffer area <br /> around the WMU-A boundaries clear of new refuse and then start to build outward and <br /> upward. This plan must have the approval of the CIWMB and RWQCB. <br /> 10. CAL.IFONIA INTEGRATED WASTE MANAGEMENT BOARD(John Loane,916-341-6000) <br /> a. 65 (G.2) <br /> Proposed as Part of the Project: <br /> Should additional cover material be needed,alternative daffy covers, approved by the <br /> CMIMB,will be examined and used. <br /> b. 56(G.3) <br /> Proposed as Part of the Project: <br /> The project sponsor has prepared a seismicity study for the site. if the potential maximum <br /> peak ground acceleration In the seismicity study Is greater than that assumed In the <br /> preliminary design,the final project design analysis will make modifications needed to meet <br /> the factor of safety(determinations may be subject to the approval of the CN MB and/or <br /> RWQCB).
