Lustre-Cal Nameplate Corp . <br /> Lodi , California <br /> HAZARDOUS MATERIALS EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br /> Pursuant to the above regulations the following emergency procedures are to be complied with <br /> to immediately and efficiently respond to releases or threatened releases of hazardous <br /> materials or hazardous wastes or hazardous waste constituents , and to fires or explosions on - <br /> site that could threaten human health or the environment . <br /> In the event of an emergency involving hazardous materials , this emergency response <br /> procedure shall be implemented immediately . <br /> Only Associates trained in the implementation of the Hazardous Materials Emergency <br /> Response Procedures are authorized to participate in the remediation of a hazardous materials <br /> release . <br /> 1 . EMERGENCY RESPONSE AND NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES <br /> LIMITED RELEASE <br /> In the event of a limited release , Associates are authorized to take immediate action to <br /> remediate the situation if it does not present an exposure hazard . Associates will <br /> undertake such action only if they have received prior training in the hazards of the <br /> materials , can safely handle the material with minimal exposure and use the appropriate <br /> personal protective equipment ( PPE ) for the material . Absorbent materials , other <br /> supplies and appropriate PPE are available to Associates to use in such cleanups . <br /> SIGNIFICANT RELEASE OR INCIDENT <br /> If the emergency is significant , a large spill occurs , a significant release is treated , or <br /> additional help is needed , Associates are required to immediately notify their supervisor <br /> or the Emergency Coordinator ( EC) . The EC or the senior supervisor on -site shall <br /> implement the Contingency Plan and direct the emergency response and the cleanup <br /> as appropriate . <br /> 3 <br />
