The EHD approved the proposed remediation in <br /> correspondence dated May 24, 2007; the deadline to have the remediation system <br /> operational at the site was August 20, 2007. At the responsible parry's request this <br /> deadline has been extended five times, but the site continues to be out of compliance. <br /> Based on the responsible party's history of non-compliance, the EHD is referring this site <br /> to the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board for oversight as the lead <br /> regulatory agency.
