(AGE) and has the following comments.
The Report documents a routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event
conducted at your site in October 2007. Currently five groundwater monitoring wells are
monitored and sampled on a quarterly basis as part of the ongoing site investigation. In the
Report AGE recommends, based on a historical lack of reported contaminants in the well,
reducing the sampling of MW-1 to an annual schedule; and reduction of the analytical suite in
all the monitoring wells. AGE recommends analysis for methyl tertiary butyl ether (MtBE)
and 1,2-dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) in samples collected from MW-1, MW-2 and MW-5; and
analysis for MtBE, 1,2-DCA, total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg) and tertiary
amyl methyl ether (TAME) in samples collected from MW-3 and MW4.
The EHD approves the proposed recommendations with the condition that wells MW-3 and
MW-4 also continue to be analyzed for tertiary butyl alcohol (TBA). If you have any questions
please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Sincerely,
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C. Henderson, Jr., PG
Registered Environmental Health Specialist Engineering Geologist
cc: James Barton, CVRWQCB, 11020 Sun Center Drive, #200, Rancho Cordova CA 95670
Ally Colavita, AGE, 837 Shaw Road, Stockton CA 95215
