(AGE) and has the following comments.
The Report documents a routine quarterly groundwater monitoring and sampling event
that was conducted at your site in July 2007. Currently five groundwater monitoring wells
are monitored and sampled as part of the ongoing site investigation. In the Report your
consultant, AGE, recommends discontinuing sampling of one of the wells, MW-5, which
was installed in December 2006 to provide data on the lateral extent of the contaminant
plume down-gradient from your site. AGE did not provide an explanation or justification
for their recommendation to discontinue utilization of this well; therefore SJC/EHD can not
approve discontinuing monitoring and sampling of the well at the present time.
If you have any questions please call Lori Duncan at (209) 468-0337.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department /
Lori Duncan, Senior REHS Nuel C.
