Advancement of two cone penetrometer test borings for investigation of the vertical and lateral extent of the <br /> petroleum hydrocarbon contamination,in both soil and groundwater,at this site. Total depths of the borings are <br /> anticipated to be 100 and 150 feet bag. Sample depths will be dependent upon the lithology encountered. <br /> 2. Installation of one shallow groundwater monitoring well located offsite and downgradient to onsite well MW-4. <br /> 3. Installation of six soil vapor extraction(SVE)wells,three shallow(screen interval 15-30 feet bsg)and three lower <br /> (screen interval 45-60 feet bsg)in preparation for conducting two SVE pilot tests. One pilot test will be run on the <br /> shallow screened SVE wells,one on the lower screened SVE wells. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. Please proceed with submittal of a San Joaquin County Well Permit Application,$89.00 permit fee and$285.00 <br /> permit processing fee for each parcel of land where work will be done. If mote than one C-57 licensed contractor <br /> will be conducting work,each will need their own permit. <br /> 2. Please proceed with scheduling the approved work. All fieldwork should be completed by October 20,2006. A <br /> report of findings must be submitted to SJC/EHD within 60 days following the completion of all fieldwork. <br /> 6.
