14 December 2000 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 99-0559 <br />' Page 2 of 11 <br />' On 22 February 1999 AGE directed OES in the excavation of approximately 100 cubic yards of <br /> hydrocarbon-impacted soil and the removal of approximately 125 cubic yards of hydrocarbon- <br /> impacted stockpiled soil from the site A total of five trucks from; Dillard Trucking of Byron CA <br />' were utilized to haul 13 loads or soil to BI;I Vasco Road Landfill in Livermore CA After stockpiled <br /> soil was removed from the site and additional soil was excavated, soil samples were collected from <br /> the excavation by AGE personnel as directed by the PHS-EHD Samples were identified as TS-1-14', <br />' TS-2-14', TS-3-14' and TS-4-14' <br /> On 10 March 1999, directed by PHS-EI-ID, AGE collected three soil samples identified as S13-1 <br />' (east), SB-2 (middle), and SB-3 (west) from the base of the canopy footing excavations at <br /> approximately 6 feet bsg The samples were field screened utilizing an organic vapor meter(OVM) <br /> The results of the field screen were 0 ppm, 50 ppm, and 118 ppm, respectively <br />' On 19 March 1999, as directed by the PHS-EHD, AGE collected soil samples from the new product <br />' piping trenches and field screened the samples with an OVM Samples collected were identified as <br /> TS-1,through 9, and were collected from an approximate depth of two and three feet bsg Samples <br /> TS-4 and TS-5 had vapor concentrations of 5 ppm and 2 ppm, respectively Sample locations were <br />' . north of the former UST T-1, UST #5, and UST #6 excavation and south of the new dispenser <br /> islands <br /> On 12 May 1999, as directed by the PHS-EHD, AGE collected soil stockpile samples identified as <br /> AS-1, 2, 3 and 4, for the purpose of characterization and profiling for the relocation of soil offsite <br /> After review of the analytical data and with the approval of PHS-EHD, approximately 100 cubic <br /> yards of soil were relocated to 1836 Sutro Avenue, a residential property across the street from the <br /> site, owned by Mr Anthony Giglio <br />� 30 PROCEDURES <br /> Tasks and procedures for this investigation were completed in accordance with the PHS-EHD <br /> approved Preliminary Site Assessment Work Plan dated 12 October 1999 prepared by AGE <br /> This report is prepared in accordance with guidelines established by the California Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board _ Central Valley Region (CRWQCB-CVR) for subsurface investigation of <br /> underground storage tank (UST) sites <br /> 3 1 ADVANCEMENT OF SOIL PROBE BORINGS <br /> .
