SUMMARY AND CONCLUSIONS <br /> Based on data collected during the monitoring event, AGE concludes <br /> • Ground water elevation increased an average of 0 3 feet between the March and June 2005 <br /> monitoring events The ground water flow direction varied with depth at the time of the June <br /> monitoring event, flowing southwest in HU 1 and HU2 and HU3 and HU4, northwest in <br /> HU5U, southeast in HU51, and northeast in HU6 <br /> • The highest petroleum hydrocarbon concentrations were detected in shallow monitoring <br /> iwells (screened in HU1 and HU2) at the east edge of the UST area In general, TPH-g <br /> concentrations increased in wells MW-2 and well MW-4 while decreasing in the remaining <br /> wells, although TPH-g increased slightly with depth in well MW-6 Total BTEX <br /> concentrations increased in wells MW-1 through MW-5, but decreased in wells MW-6 and <br /> MW-7 <br /> • The core of the MTBE plume is situated over the former UST areas (MW-7, MW-2 and <br /> MW-4), the plume extends south to well MW-6 and southwest to well MW-5 (Figure 8) <br /> During the second quarter 2005, MTBE was detected at significant concentrations in wells <br /> near the former UST area(MW-1 through MW-4 and MW-7)and in hydrogeologic unit HU1 <br /> and HU2 at the more distal wells MW-5 and MW-6, however MTBE was non-detect in <br /> deeper hydrogeologic units of wells MW-5 and MW-6 <br /> • 1,2-DCA was detected in five samples collected from the former UST area Other fuel <br /> additives (ETBE and TAME) were also detected near the former UST area <br /> • The vertical extent of impacted ground water at the western and southern edge of the site are <br /> defined by well MW-5, and to a lesser degree by MW-6 The vertical extent of impacted <br /> ground water at the former UST area has not been defined,extending beyond the total depth <br /> of well MW-7E <br /> • The lateral extent of shallow, impacted ground water towards the west and southwest, <br /> down-gradient of the UST area, has not been defined <br /> Advanced GcoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
