it
22 August 2005
. AGE-NC Project No 99-0559
5.0. RECOMMENDATIONS
Based on the findings and conclusions in this report, AGE recommends the following
• Continued quarterly ground water monitoring, the next quarterly monitoring event is
scheduled for mid-September 2005
• Installation of additional, shallow(80 feet)- to intermediate-depth (100 feet) ground water
extraction wells on the southern and western margin of the site, in order to minimize the
lateral migration of petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted ground water towards the south and
west
• Installation of additional CPT monitoring points as depicted in the AGE-prepared Interim
Soil Remediation and Additional Site Assessment Work Plan, dated 02 December 2003, to
define vertical and lateral extent of ground water contamination
I
6.0. LINIITATIONS
Our professional services were performed using that degree of care and skill ordinarily exercised by
environmental consultants practicing in this or similar localities The findings were based mainly
upon analytical results provided by an independent laboratory Evaluations of the hydrogeologic
conditions at the site for the purpose of this investigation are made from a limited number of
available data points (e g ground water samples), and subsurface conditions may vary away from
these data points No other warranty, expressed or implied, is made as to the professional
interpretations, opinions and recommendations contained in this report
i
Advanced GeoEnvironmentaf,Inc
