1 <br />' 27 September 2004 <br /> • AGE-NC Project No 99-0559 <br />' Page 3 of 5 <br />' 3.0 FINDINGS <br /> Analytical results of influent ground water samples and ground water extraction measurements were <br />' used to evaluated the volume of impacted ground water removed and mass of hydrocarbons treated <br /> Total flow (totalizer) was recorded utilizing a Blue-White Industries F-2000 flow meter <br />' 3 1 GROUND WATER TREATMENT RESULTS <br /> I The pump-and-treat system was operational during the first and second quarters of 2004 Total flow <br /> (totalizer) was recorded between 18 December 2003 and 24 June 2004 utilizing the Blue-White <br /> Industries F-2000 flow meter (Appendix B and E), during the reporting period the flow meter <br />' recorded a volume of 306,342 gallons or 1,158,564 liters of discharged water <br /> 32 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF EXTRACTION WATER SAMPLES <br /> TPH-g and BTEX compounds and MTBE were detected in the influent samples from wells EW-1, <br /> EW-2, EW-3, EW-4 and influent samples The following is a summary of the detected <br /> concentrations <br />' 0 29 January A composite influent sample was collected from the manifold pipeline leading <br /> to the holding tank and analyzed TPH-g was detected at 93,000 micrograms per liter(µg/1), <br /> benzene at 22,000 µg/l, toluene at 18,000µg/1, ethylbenzene at 18,000 µg/1 and xylenes at <br /> 11,000 µg/1 MTBE was detected at 56,000 µg11 <br /> • 26 February A composite influent sample was collected from the manifold pipeline leading <br /> to the holding tank and analyzed TPH-g was detected at 74,000 µg/1,benzene at 5,900 µg/l, <br /> toluene at 11,000µg/1, ethylbenzene at 1,700 µg/1 and xylenes at 10,000 µg/1 MTBE was <br /> I detected at 17,000 µg/l <br /> • 23 March A composite influent sample was collected from the manifold pipeline leading to <br /> the holding tank and analyzed TPH-g was detected at 76,000 µg/1, benzene at 2,700 µg/1, <br /> toluene at 7,500µg/1, ethylbenzene at 1,600 µg/1 and xylenes at 8,800 µg/1 MTBE was <br /> detected at 230 µg/1 <br /> • 14 April Individual samples were collected from each ground water extraction well influent <br /> stream and analyzed The highest concentrations of TPH-g were detected in the sample <br /> collected from well EW-2,at 180,000µg/1 The highest concentrations of BTEX compounds <br /> were detected from well EW-1, with benzene at 13,000 µg/1, toluene at 11,000µg/1, <br /> . ethylbenzene at 5,000 µg/1, and xylenes at 28,000 µg/1 MTBE concentrations ranged <br /> between 3,200 µg/1 (EW-3) and 98,000 µg/1 (EW-2) <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc ' <br />
