I <br />' Quarterly Report - First Quarter 2002 <br /> WATERLOO FOOD & FUEL <br />' 3032 E. Waterloo Road, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />' At the request of Mr Paul Sidhu, Advanced GeoEnvironmental, Inc (AGE) has prepared this <br /> quarterly report for the site located at 3032 E Waterloo Road, Stockton, California(site) The scope <br /> of work included conducting a quarterly ground water monitoring event and preparation of this <br />' report The location of the site is illustrated in Figure 1, locations of structures, soil borings and <br /> monitoring wells on the site are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> I At the present time, there are eight monitoring well locations at the site, four locations contain <br /> single-level wells (MW-1 through MW-4), and four (MW-5 through MW-8) contain multi-level <br /> wells consisting of six perforated and screened well chambers in a seven-chamber casing <br /> (Continuous Multichannel Tubing) Based on field and laboratory analytical data,screened intervals <br /> of the wells were set within discrete depth intervals(hydrologic units)to monitor vertical and lateral <br /> changes in hydraulic gradient, contaminant concentrations and migration directions within the <br /> hydraulic units Each hydrologic unit was defined based on lithologic information provided by cone <br /> penetrometer testing, as detailed in the AGE-prepared Cone Penetrometer Testing and Monitoring <br /> • Well Installation Report, dated 11 February 2002 As-built monitoring well construction details are <br />' summarized in Appendix A and the hydrologic units are depicted on Figure 2A <br /> I Six hydrologic units (HUs) were defined HU1 (water table to 62 feet below surface grade [bsg]), <br /> within the screened interval of wells MW-1 through MW-4 and A-wells MW-5A through MW-8A, <br /> HU2 (62 to 70 feet bsg), within the screened interval of wells MW-1 through MW-4 and A-wells <br /> MW-5A through MW-8A,HU3 (70 to 90 feet bsg),within the screened interval of B-wells MW-5B <br /> through MW-8B,HU4(90 to 100 feet bsg),within the screened interval of B-wells MW-5B through <br /> MW-8B, HUS (100 to 155 feet bsg),within the screened interval of C- and D-wells MW-5C and <br /> I MW-5D through MW-8C and MW-8D, and HU6 (175 to 185 feet bsg),withm the screened Interval <br /> of E-wells MW-5E through MW-8E HU6 was designated as the deepest hydrologic unit monitored <br /> I Additional site history and findings from previous investigations and monitoring events at the site <br /> are detailed in AGE's report titled Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report, dated 14 <br /> December 2000 and Cone Penetrometer Testing and Monitoring Well Installation Report dated 11 <br /> February 2002 <br /> 2.0.
