Blass Envtronmenlal Mnnngemenl Inc U Haul#709-50 <br /> 002-70950-03 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> 1/25102 <br /> dispenser island Following installation of the additional wells, remedial feasibility studies will include a <br /> vapor extraction and air sparge test, aquifer pump test, and biofeasibility analysis on soil and <br /> groundwater <br /> On January 23, 2002, Blaes Environmental received authorization from the SJC to permit the proposed <br /> wells and proceed with off-site access for the additional monitor wells Well permitting and off-site <br /> access will be completed during the first quarter of 2002 <br /> 14 PROGRAM OBJECTIVES <br /> The objective of the quarterly groundwater monitoring program was to provide additional data <br /> (monitoring and analytical data) to further evaluate groundwater conditions beneath the site <br /> 1 5 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> The current quarterly monitoring event was conducted in December 2001 The monitoring event <br /> involved the following tasks 1) collecting field measurements of groundwater conditions from all of the <br /> well casings in each of the well locations, 2) purging monitoring wells prior to collecting groundwater <br /> samples, 3) storing and profiling purged groundwater for disposal/treatment, 4) analyzing groundwater <br /> samples, and 5) preparation of this report <br /> 1 6 PROJECT TEAM <br /> The project team consisted of Blaes Environmental of Phoenix, Arizona and Del Mar Analytical, Inc <br /> (Del Mar), a California State certified analytical laboratory located in Irvine, California Blaes <br /> Environmental coordinated and managed the project, performed field measurements, collected, sealed <br /> and arranged for proper transport of the groundwater samples to the analytical laboratory, and prepared <br /> this report Del Mar provided sample containers and laboratory analysis of groundwater samples <br /> collected at the site <br /> 2 <br />
